Nick Brown has been a partner in Plummer Parsons for nearly 25 years and holds a Diploma in Charity Accounting which recognises his many years of experience in the charity sector. He has a keen interest in charity and disability matters as his younger son is disabled. He has overall responsibility for the charity department but also has hands on experience with many charity clients of his own.

Steve Smith BSc (Hons) FCCA DChA
Client Manager-Charity VAT Specialist
Steve has worked with charities for over 15 years and has built up a wealth of knowledge regarding the charity sector. Having qualified with Plummer Parsons in 1996, he also holds the Diploma in Charity Accounting and mainly assists charities with their accounts and audit compliance, as well as undertaking Independent Examinations and providing advice on VAT and tax matters. His specialisms include care homes, charities working overseas, Arts charities, schools and religious charities. Outside of the firm Steve has acted as treasurer for his local church as well as serving on the Parochial Church Council. His interests include music, playing the guitar, cycling and football.

Colin Dadswell BA (Hons) ACA DChA
Client Manager--Not for Profit specialist
Colin has spent much of his time since qualifying as a Chartered Accountant in 2003 dealing with a variety of Charity clients alongside his general practice work. In 2011 he also attained the Chartered Institute's Diploma in Charity Accounting having developed his knowledge in this specialist area over a number of years. Colin's work with Charities predominantly involves advising clients on accounting matters as well as carrying out audits and independent examinations. Outside of the firm, Colin fills the roles of treasurer and deacon in his local Church and enjoys spending time with his family.

Sardul Kafle BA (Hons) FCCA
Client Manager-Not for Profit specialist
Sardul worked with Top 10 firm before joining Plummer Parsons in 2010. Sardul has special interest in charities; he was worked with few known charities in the past and possesses several years experience in charity audit. On a personal level, Sardul is a trustee of a charity, Help Nepal Network, and gets involved in raising funds and administrative help from time to time.

Gemma Stace ACA
Trainee Accountant
Since joining the firm and working towards her ACA qualification, Gemma has been involved in the preparation of the accounts for numerous charities, as well as having an involvement with audits and Independent Examinations for charities; large and small. In December 2012 Gemma passed her finals for the ACA exam and is soon to be fully qualified.

Ali Towler AAT
Trainee Accountant
Ali joined Plummer Parsons in 2009 and was quickly moved to the charity team. He has recently completed his AAT qualification and is studying for the chartered qualification. He mostly deals with charity accounts as well as independent examination and his favourite, audits. Outside work hours he helps with the finances of a charity building schools in Africa and regularly goes to assist in the build.
