Artist
Landscape artist Julian Sutherland-Beatson is a long term Eastbourne resident and attended Eastbourne School of Art under printmaker Robert Tavener.
He graduated with an LSIAD in Illustration.
He worked In London for Conran Associates before setting up his own design and illustration company in Eastbourne.
In 2004 Julian had two paintings in the style of 1930s travel posters purchased by The House of Lords which he then developed into a series of 12 in similar style.
Since April 2008 he has been producing a 'daily painting' of the Sussex countryside and coastline and the paintings have been purchased by collectors from around the world including France, Holland, Spain, The USA and Switzerland. He was recently invited to attend the annual Art Ete festival in Dieppe.
