PP v Central (div4)
Clearly skilled at tossing a coin, Phil, won the toss again, and chose to field first.
With the bowling skills returning to the team, Clare stunned the opposition with a brilliant, 5-33. Nick also helped to put the pressure on with 2-35. And with catches from the skipper, Shortie, Jon and little Pippa, and some good fielding to allow Clare two run outs. Central were all out within 8 overs and only scoring 68.
PP then went into bat, Pete Watters had a fantastic hit, top scoring with 94. The highest score so far this season. He was well supported by the ladies, Sally, Kerry, Pip and Clare. Nigel then went in to score a good 16 not out, and lead PP to a final total of 143 in 14 overs.
Sixth win out of nine.

Special mention: Kerry, despite her reluctance to bowl, she displayed her much improved batting skills, showing she can hold her own with the best of them.
