SAGE 50 v QUICKBOOKS

One of the questions I have been asked many times over the years, is “what is the difference between Quickbooks and Sage, and which is the best one to use for my business?”.

From 6 April 2010 the current doctor's 'sick note' will be replaced by the Statement of Fitness for Work or 'fit note'.The 'fit note' aims to focus on what an employee may be able to do at work rather than what they cannot do.

HMRC has from the 24 February 2010 posted the following message on its website:

From 1 April 2010 all cheque payments by post will be treated as being received by HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) on the date when cleared funds reach HMRC bank account.
