Michelle is an apprentice at Plummer Parsons currently studying AAT Level 4 at Sussex Downs College.

On the 9th February 2012, she attended a Sussex Learning Network event designed to celebrate apprentice progression at the American Express stadium. At the event she was accompanied by her fellow colleague, Ali Towler, her former A level accountancy teacher, Sam Alvarez and a director from Plummer Parsons, Andrew Griffiths.

The main aim of this event was to raise awareness of apprenteships, celebrate the achievements of apprentices and to encourage more people to become apprentices.

Michelle and Ali were invited to the event to share their stories about their journeys so far. This involved taking part in a panel discussion and answering questions from the audience. The audience consisted of around 60 delegates, delegates from training providers in the public and private sector.

Michelle said “I was really proud to be a part of this event, and was glad that I was able to help towards enhancing apprenteships in Sussex. “
