Ian Killick
Educated in London and trained in Eastbourne before setting up in practice in Hailsham in 1984, Ian joined Plummer Parsons in 1990. He is married with one son. He has passed the Financial Planning Certificate examinations of The Chartered Insurance Institute.
Neville Beckhurst
Neville joined Plummer Parsons after working for more than 25 years at Eastbourne chartered accountants Honey Barrett, 20 years of which as a partner. He is a director and Honorary Treasurer of the Eastbourne Chamber of Commerce.
His interests are in helping businesses in a wide range of areas and with years of experience he has a wealth of knowledge to draw on. More specifically he has extensive knowledge in dealing with the sale and purchase of private companies and the minimisation of tax liabilities. This will also involve preparing clients for a sale through strategic and profit planning. He advises private individuals and families on a whole spectrum of family and private matters of importance to them such as succession planning, tax planning and handling probate matters. He has a wealth of experience advising on all issues clients may face in relation to both wealth management, preservation and other events of life.
Away from the office Neville relaxes by cycling, including cycling for charity, keeping fit and can often be seen at Twickenham watching the rugby having been a former player at Eastbourne Rugby Club.
Andrew Saunders
Educated at Alleyns School Dulwich, Andrew qualified in London before moving to Hailsham where he has lived and worked in practice since 1980. He is married with three children, is a member of Royal Eastbourne Golf Club and has a keen interest in most sports. Andrew specialises in Sage Line 50 accounting software on which he offers personal training and consultancy services. He is also a member of The Academy of Experts and specialises in Forensic accounting & litigation support.
Chris Burgess
Trained and qualified with Robson Rhodes in the city before moving to Eastbourne in 1981. He became a partner in 1985 and enjoys playing golf and hockey. He is a member of the Audit Faculty of The Institute of Chartered Accountants.
Nick Brown
Nick was educated at the Eastbourne Grammar school. He qualified in 1983 he became a partner in 1990 when his previous firm merged with Plummer Parsons. He lives in the town with his wife and two sons. He is a member of the Information Technology faculty of the Institute of Chartered Accountants. In addition to running his own department he has overall responsibility for the firm's IT systems, Charity audits and Payroll Department.
Chris Gorringe
Educated in Hailsham, Chris trained and qualified with Plummer Parsons and become a Partner in 1998. He lives in Hailsham with his wife and two children. Chris is a keen golfer and has an interest in most sports. Chris specialises in business support as well as property development and management./p>
Peter Thursfield
Born and raised in the West Midlands. Obtained an Economics degree at Leicester Polytechnic. Moved to the south coast in 1984, where he commenced training as a Chartered Accountant, qualifying at a Brighton firm in 1989. Since qualifying, has worked in Hailsham, establishing a portfolio of clients within Plummer Parsons. He specialises in Sage Line 50 work, audit and corporate reporting, small businesses and general tax work. Married, with one daughter, Peter is a fanatical supporter of West Bromwich Albion.
Kieran McCurdy
Kieran trained with Plummer Parsons, qualifying in 2002. He then went on to become a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation in 2003. Kieran specialises in business support, taxation and Quickbooks and Sage accounting software. He lives in Brighton with his wife where in his free time he enjoys playing and also watching as much football as possible.
Steve Griffen
Steve joined Plummer Parsons in 2005, after training and qualifying in the Sussex area. He is a member of both the Institute of Chartered Accountants and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and holds the ACCA's Certificate in International Financial Reporting. Steve specialises in working with corporate clients and their owners. He has gained valuable experience in working with growing businesses and new business start ups, an area he particularly enjoys.

Alastair Stewart
Educated at Lewes Grammar School and joined Plummer Parsons in 1963. He is a member the Taxation faculty of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales . He specialises in personal and corporate tax matters and Trusts, Estates and financial planning. Outside of the firm Alastair is a Governor of Ratton School and is a keen follower of Brighton and Hove Albion.
Paul Briant
Educated at King Edward VI Grammar School Nuneaton and trained and qualified with Grant Thornton. He is married with two children, the elder following in father’s footsteps with Deloitte Touche in London. His main hobby is amateur theatre and runs, with his wife Dot, Eastbourne Young Stagers. His specialisation is in business support.
Private Client Director
Andrew Griffiths
After being educated at Eastbourne Grammar School, Andrew qualified and joined Plummer Parsons in 1984. Over the years Andrew has had many "general practice" clients but latterly he has specialised in charities and private client work; he is a member of the Taxation faculty of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and Association of Charity Independent Examiners. Andrew is a keen member of a local church in Eastbourne and trustee of various charities.
Practice Administrator
Carolyn Parker
Carolyn, generally known as Carrie, is the Practice Administrator for the Plummer Parsons group and is also a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. She was educated in Eastbourne, then graduated from the University College of Wales Aberystwyth with a degree Accounting before joining Plummer Parsons in 1994. Carrie developed a specialism in charities and solicitors before her appointment as Practice Administrator in 2006.
