Our example
At Plummer Parsons we pride ourselves on not just being typical accountants we strongly believe in setting the example and giving back to the local community.
We are very active in the Not for Profit area in our working days however we do many other things to help. As a firm we raise money for local designated charities each year, as part of events such as comic relief, children in need and Christmas card donations. We believe that by giving to local charities our donations can make a huge difference.
We are proud of the fact that our staff also undertake various charitable activates, ranging from running marathons, midnight walks to acting as trustees, treasurers and volunteers.
We are keen to continue our work in setting up a framework to bring together local Not for Profits and local corporates to encouraging company support for charities, not just in financial terms but also in terms of volunteers service provision and all types on other non financial support.
Apart from helping the local community we also care about the environment and are conscious of reducing our carbon footprint. We undertake as many steps possible to be carbon friendly, ranging from the specification of low power IT equipment to paperless filing and by recycling and ensuring wherever possible we use duplex printing.
