Ian joined Plummer Parsons in 1990. He trained in Eastbourne, before setting up his own practice in Hailsham in 1984. He was educated in London and moved to Eastbourne after leaving school. He is married with one son who now also training to be an accountant.
Ian has worked as a general practice partner for over 30 years and built up a good knowledge of how OMB’s tick, as well as implementing tax saving schemes wherever possible, as a result, Ian’s clients range from small start up businesses to multi-million pound retailers. He also has experience of dealing with investment planning and has passed the Financial Planning Certificate examinations of the Chartered Insurance Institute.
Ian specialises in Architects and Optician practices and has 20 years experience dealing with their unique problems including providing specialist VAT advice and advice over tax efficient business structures.
Outside the office, Ian is a keen gardener and follower of rugby union and tries to watch England and London Irish play as much as possible. He is also a director of Hailsham Trust, a registered charity, which helps training projects and development plans for Hailsham.
